- We have been researching and developing seeds for many years in order to introduce our own sorghum as a fuel for biomass power generation. Demonstration trials for viable seeds are planned for Aomori and Tochigi from this year, in addition to the existing ones in Fukushima and Nara. Tochigi is planned in collaboration with erex Co., Ltd, while overseas, demonstration tests are planned in India.
- The demonstration trials check the growth of sorghum and develop seeds that can adapt to changes in climate, water and other environmental conditions.
- Demonstrations of the mass production (vegetation) of sorghum as a biomass fuel are also planned in Vietnam and India.
